An Australian man fell to his death from a hotel room in Sathon district of Bangkok early Saturday morning in what police believed was a suicide. At around 8am, she went out onto the balcony of her room and saw the body lying face-down on the terrace, said Pol Col Akkhawut. A police investigation found that the man had been staying alone in the 18th-floor room since Feb 7. A farewell letter written to his elder brother was found in the room, officers said. Officers also intend to contact the brother to find out what might have led to the man's death.
